An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest does not establish guilt. A prosecutor may decline or change a charge, a court may dismiss it, and a booking entry does not show the final outcome. Missouri records can later be corrected, closed, or expunged. An older copy may therefore give the wrong view of current status.
